Hysteric Gamour / Baltazar studded belt
Hysteric Gamour x Baltazar studded belt
Iconic early 2000s belt, rare piece from the very limited collaboration between Japanese cult label Hysteric Glamour and Los Angeles based leather artisan Baltazar Gulter.
Each piece from this collaboration was handcrafted in Los Angeles at the workshop of “Goose” Duarte, founder of Baltazar.
The design perfectly embodies the DNA of both names, delivering a raw, underground energy through its crackled Italian leather, hand-applied pyramid studs and metal eyelets, and a custom engraved buckle reading “Baltazar for Hysteric.”
This piece symbolizes a cultural bridge between Tokyo and Los Angeles, a fusion of punk, grunge, and glam-rock sensibilities.
This collaboration was directly inspired by the early 2000s, a period when fashion embraced studded details, crackled leather finishes, and rebellious silhouettes.
Brands such as LGB, Hysteric Glamour, If Six Was Nine, and Number (N)ine fully embodied this aesthetic.
